Taina Adam
Taina Adam (she/her) is a queer Haitian American interdisciplinary artist. Her work explores the healing benefits of play by utilizing improvised music and inspirations from nature to bring forth connections to ourselves and the environment.Adam attended the Ratcliffe Art + Design Incubator and received a grant where she was able to merge her passions for environmental justice education through Film, hence the space she created, One world One You. Since then, Taina has expanded her creative expressions through music, theater, dance, poetry and more.Today, Adam experiments with dance, music, and storytelling through performances and various workshops that explore Miami's history and ecology, Haitian Culture, Climate Justice, and our identities.

A man who recently learned about climate change is eager to reduce his plastic waste. Although he is passionate, he is unaware of the ways can do so, which leads to him reducing his waste in a pretty interesting way.

This tree, the Strangler Fig, starts out as a seed growing onto other trees, wrapping around them for support until it strangles them to death.

Gumbo Limbo, is aka "Tourist Tree" because if a tree could get sunburned it would look red and flaky.

Wild Coffee! Known for its dark shiny rigid leaves. They also produce red berries, but their beans don't contain caffeine.

In a desperation to reduce his plastic waste, this character results to eating his last plastic bottle.

How much plastic do humans consume every week? Well, we consume about the size of a credit card weekliy... delicious.
